Description

La Grange has a surface area of 150m² and is attached to the owner’s house, with 3.5 hectares of shared, unenclosed land.

50m from the cottage is an unheated swimming pool (accessible at no extra charge) shared by the cottages, the owner and his family, with stair access, fenced, with sun loungers and games, measuring 10m by 5m with a depth of 1.10m to 1.80m. The pool is open from early June to late September.

La Grange has two floors. On the ground floor, the large barn door leads to the living room. To the right, the dining room extends into a fully equipped kitchen. Opposite is a bedroom, a shower room, and a separate toilet accessible via three steps. The staircase leads to a mezzanine with three bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet.

Amenities

The beds are equipped with pillows and duvets.

Baby equipment is available on request: crib, bouncer, high chair, bathtub, and changing mat.

Sheets and towels are provided free of charge.

The bedrooms are furnished with a 160cm by 200cm bed (for bedrooms 2 and 4) or two 90cm by 190cm beds (for bedrooms 1 and 3), a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a desk for bedrooms 1 and 4.

The beds are equipped with a duvet and two pillows with pillowcases and a throw.

Room 4 has direct access to the patio.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances:

We have provided all the necessary crockery, dishes, pots and pans, etc., as well as tea towels, cleaning products, and a few basic groceries.

Bathroom

Upstairs, the bathroom has a bathtub, sink, and toilet.

Downstairs, there is a shower room with a walk-in shower (no rim), sink, and separate toilet.

We provide one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth per person.

Living room

The large room has a dining area with a table, two benches, and four chairs, and a living room area with two sofa beds, two armchairs, a cabinet with books and card and board games, a TV corner with an 82cm smart TV, a HiFi system, and WiFi with internet access.

Patio

The wooden deck overlooks the valley. It is equipped with a table with six chairs and a parasol.

It opens directly onto the clothesline, barbecue, and children’s games. In the courtyard, there is another table with eight chairs.

Renovations

The renovation work lasted from 2007 to 2008. We kept the exterior walls and raised the floor where hay was stored for greater comfort.

Two wooden cribs recall the passage of cows for milking.
